Diving in Leros

Leros is an ideal island for scuba diving, certainly you would like to experience the thrill of diving into the enchanting seabed, full of different types of fish and of incomparable beauty.
In recent years a boom in sport diving has been observed.

Leros has great opportunities, important for the enhancement of the island, in the particular sector of diving tourism, hosting, in a maritime ecosystem of great ecological importance, a large number of wrecks from the Second World War.

In Leros, the Superintendency of Underwater Archeology has made free two areas in which diving is allowed:

1) The area extending from Cape Sumari to Cape Mavros Cavos

2) The area that extends from the bay of Xirocampos to the bay of Diapori.
